In this unit students will consider what it means to join a religion and what sort of choices are made in order to belong to a particular religion. They will also consider whether the choice to belong to a religion is made by parents and handed down to their children. Students will discuss when such decisions should be made – can children make decisions to join a religion or should you be an adult? They will look at Christianity and Judaism in particular when studying this unit.
